Strategic Collaboration Initiative Webinars Facilitated by Rev. Dr. Sterling Freeman

John Rex Endowment is excited to promote networking and strategic collaboration across organizations led by Black, Indigenous, Latinx, other Persons of Color (BILPOC) in Wake County.

The John Rex Endowment believes we can affect change in issues that impact children's social emotional health through authentic collaboration amongst BILPOC-led community organizations.

That's why we've teamed up with We-Collab to host a series of restorative workshops and training sessions open to the public for those interested in networking and exploring an opportunity to collaborate with one another.

Join us to learn more about our Strategic Collaboration Initiative and see if the Endowment's upcoming funding opportunity may be right for your organization!

The first of our offerings will be a two-part "Preparing for Meaningful Collaboration" webinar series facilitated by Rev. Dr. Sterling E. Freeman, Co-Founder of CounterPart Consulting.

1) Part 1: Thursday, September 8, 2022 | 10 AM – 12 PM EST

Join other community members to acquire tools and exchange wisdom for cultivating spaces for authentic collaboration.

2) Part 2: Thursday, September 22, 2022 | 10 AM – 12 PM EST

Continue the conversation with community members from Part 1 and explore opportunities for collaboration. This session will unpack the possibilities of collaborating with mission-aligned groups.

We encourage participants to attend both sessions. These webinars are an extension of the John Rex Endowment’s racial equity work, and follows the model of racial identity caucuses/affinity groups. Please register to join us if you identify as BILPOC to discuss the dynamics of collaborating with one another
