Dear Partners and Friends,

As we navigate this post-election season, I want to acknowledge the diverse range of thoughts and emotions this period can evoke. In times of transition, the John Rex Endowment remains steadfast in our mission: to fortify organizations that prioritize racial equity and justice, thereby enhancing the social-emotional well-being of children in Wake County. This mission is not just ours but a shared commitment with you, our community members, partners, and stakeholders. 

As we journey forward, we also want to express our deepest gratitude to our outgoing board members: LaTasha Winstead, John Rusher, Warren Ludwig, and Matt Letterman. Their dedicated service has strengthened our work and left an indelible mark on our organization. Lastly, thank you to everyone who attended our Open House on November 21st. It was wonderful to gather, share in fellowship, and reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces of care and support. Moments like these celebrate our shared work and remind us of the power we find in our partnerships.
